During his presidential tenure of SANYO Automotive Group, Reid was the recipient of multiple Ford World Excellence Top Supplier Awards and numerous patents contributing to SANYO’s success and reputation in the automotive industry. Leveraging his automotive supplier experience, he also founded Universal Hire, a strategic automotive engineering agency whose clients included eight of the world’s largest Tier 1 automotive suppliers. Prior to this, he served in numerous roles for ten years at the Ford Motor Company with numerous broad contributions including the prestigious Customer Driven Quality Award.

Reid pursues his life’s passion for bicycling by holding a UCI Cycling Federation International Maters Elite license and has been racing World Cup Mountain Bike Marathons since 2015. Spoke technology that can help keep a cyclist safer is near and dear to his heart.
